At 6 p.m. on a Tuesday, trivia starts in the Grill Room at 951 US-1. Every bottle of wine under $100 is half off. The two hours of questions end at 8. Nobody needs a handicap or a tee time to be there. The Clubhouse and the Grill Room at the North Palm Beach Country Club are open to the public. Lessing's Hospitality Group runs the club's restaurants and catering for the Village, which owns the club.
On the club's own calendar, the in-season year began in the dining room. The Clubhouse's weekly schedule started October 20 and runs through May 31. The new dining membership year started October 1. The biggest public night of the club's year happens on the water: on December 5, the holiday boat parade begins in North Palm Beach. All three are built for neighbors who may never book a round.
The schedule assigns each night its own theme, and several nights are set up for families.
| Night | At the Clubhouse | Also on the grounds |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | Meatball Monday: $12 meatball sliders and $12 meatball skillet, all-day happy hour | Junior Tennis Academy: Future Stars, ages 5 to 9, 4 to 5 p.m.; Advanced, ages 10 to 17, 5 to 6:30 p.m. |
| Tuesday | Trivia Tuesday in the Grill Room, 6 to 8 p.m., 50% off bottles of wine under $100 | |
| Wednesday | Burger and Brew: Bistro Burger and Clubhouse Lager for $15; kids 10 and under eat free with an adult meal | Junior Tennis Academy, same hours as Monday |
| Thursday | Sunset Social: happy hour extended to 7 p.m., live music 4 to 7 p.m. | |
| Friday | Fri-Date Night: $45 prime rib, $11 handcrafted cocktails, a complimentary surprise dessert for two | |
| Sunday | Brunch with live music in the dining room, $20 bottomless Bloody Marys, mimosas and rosé, G.H. Mumm at $39 for the rosé and $55 for the brut |
The tennis hours are from the Village's October 2026 newsletter. The Sunday block on the club's schedule also lists a 99-cent wing special, and kids 10 and under eat free with an adult meal.
Monday and Wednesday line up neatly. A child's tennis session ends at 5 or 6:30 p.m., and the Clubhouse is a short walk across the grounds. On Wednesday, the burger deal and the free kids' meal fall on a tennis night. The schedule doesn't say this pairing was planned. It does put the same families in the same building twice a week for seven months.
The October newsletter introduced the Clubhouse's executive chef, listed only as Chef Nick. His story in that issue covers growing up helping his father, who was a chef, while his grandmother cooked. He started in restaurants making burritos on a line, tried other kinds of work, and came back to kitchens, now as the Clubhouse's executive chef.
The newsletter announced a new menu for October featuring his latest dishes. It calls the Buddha Bowl popular with guests and the burgers a fan favorite. It also tells the story of Grampy's Sandwich, a ham sandwich Nick's father used to make that his daughters love. The Village repeated the news in an October post on its news page, saying the menu change was coming later that month. If you haven't eaten at the Clubhouse since summer, expect the menu to look different from your last visit.
The Social Dining Membership runs from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027. It costs $900 for Village residents, $1,200 for nonresidents, and $600 as an add-on for existing club members. The resident rate requires proof of residence in the Village of North Palm Beach, and residents can join as a single adult or as a family.
The main benefit is 20% off food and drinks at all of the club's restaurants: the Clubhouse, the Grill Room, the Snack Shack and the Beverage Cart. If you count only that discount, here's how much you'd need to spend for the membership to pay for itself:
The discount isn't the whole package. The membership includes recreational swim at the NPBCC pool, a free kids' meal on every visit with an adult entrée, and a dessert picked by the executive pastry chef at dinner. It also includes 20% off clothing and other soft goods in the golf shop and a concierge line for reservations at busy times. The events include a "Meet the Members" happy hour each month in season, with a light buffet, live music and a drink ticket. There's also an in-season wine dinner with a guest and a members-only Fourth of July fireworks party.
For a family that already eats at the Clubhouse on Wednesdays and swims in the summer, the break-even figure includes things the family would pay for anyway. To join, the club directs people to Meghan Luzuriagga at [email protected]. The prices and perks here are the ones posted on the club's site. Check the current terms with the club before you sign up.
The Thanksgiving buffet is three weeks out. Reservation times run from noon to 6 p.m., and the price is $75 per person and $25 for children under 10. A table for two adults and two young children comes to $200 before drinks. A dining member would take 20% off that bill, since the discount covers all food and drinks at the club. Bookings go through the club's SevenRooms reservation page, and the buffet page links to the menu. Late-afternoon times on a holiday buffet usually go first, so families who want a 4 o'clock table should reserve this week.
The Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County hosts the 32nd Annual Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade, rain or shine, on Saturday, December 5. A Zambelli traveling fireworks display leads the boats north on the Intracoastal Waterway from North Palm Beach to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. The parade doubles as a toy drive for Toys for Tots and Little Smiles.
Here's the evening in order, using the organizer's published times:
Viewers farther north wait until well after dark. In North Palm Beach, the boats come by at the start of the parade, which suits families with young children. The organizer lists the North Palm Beach Country Club as one of its open-to-the-public viewing sites. Anyone who can't make it can watch the parade live on the WPBF app and the station's Facebook page.
The club also holds a party called Let It Glow during the parade. The dining membership page lists free food and drinks at that party as a member perk. For everyone else, the club's role that night is the one the parade organizer lists: a free public viewing site close to where the parade begins.
You can follow the season from the Clubhouse calendar alone: trivia every Tuesday, the Thanksgiving buffet on November 26, then a 6 p.m. start on December 5 just off US-1.
