PARKS

Martin County offers miles of picturesque beaches, old battle grounds, and community
parks.

 

Jonathan Dickinson State Park: This large state park offers a variety of activities, including hiking, camping, fishing, and swimming. It is also home to the Loxahatchee River, which is a great place to kayak or canoe.

Jock Leighton Park: Perfect for families, this park is where you’ll spend Saturdays at the soccer fields or weeknights at the skate park. They also have grills, pavillions and  miles of walking trails.

Hobe Sound Beach: This beach is known for its calm waters and white sand beaches. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the sun and sand.


Halpatiokee Regional Park: a great place to enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise. It is also a great place to learn about the local ecosystem and see some of the wildlife that
calls the park home.

Medical Services

The medical services around Palm City and in Martin County, Florida are generally very good. The county has a number of hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers that offer a wide range of services.

Climate

Palm City has a humid subtropical climate with hot, rainy summers and mild winters. Summer temps range from mid80s to mid-90s F, while winter temps range from mid-60s to low-70s F. The region is hurricane-prone, with a high risk of tropical storms from June to November. Overall, Palm City’s climate is characterized by warm temperatures, high humidity, and frequent rainfall. The good news is that we get to enjoy our outdoor lifestyle year round!
